Fwd: course evaluations

As per the message attached below, the Dean requested that we remind you about taking part in teaching evaluations. So, I am sending you this message.

I do take your comments on the teaching evaluations seriously and thus encourage you to take the time to complete the evaluations.

For those of you who are new to ASU, note that  evaluations are returned to us, in an anonymized form, much after your grades are reported. So your comments cannot affect your course grades in any way.

regards
Rao

Colleagues,

I sent the message below to all of our students.  Please reinforce this messaging with your students.

Engineering Students,

As this semester comes to an end, you will soon be receiving requests to complete engineering course evaluations.  We are committed to continuously improving the educational experience of our students.  Your course evaluations provide important input to this process which is reviewed by Program Chairs and School Directors as they evaluate curriculum.  Your course evaluations are also an important component in faculty performance evaluations impacting decisions regarding reappointment, tenure, promotion and merit.  Please complete your evaluations.
